10 Panthers picked for rep duty

Penrith’s back-up five-eighth Isaac John has been plucked from reserve grade to play for New Zealand against Australia on Friday night.

John is one of six players who will make their debut for New Zealand on Friday night.

In total, 10 Penrith players have been selected for representative duties next weekend including rising star Adam Docker, who makes his representative debut for Country.

The players selected for representative duties are: 

New Zealand team to play Australia in the ANZAC Test: Dean Whare and Isaac John

Fijian team to play Samoa in the Pacific Test: Reagan Campbell-Gillard, Kevin Naiqama, Eto Nabuli and Waqa Blake

City team for City v Country: Tim Grant and Matt Moylan

Country team for City v Country: Adam Docker and Jamal Idris
