The Penrith Panthers and Sydney Roosters will seek the NRL’s approval over the Panthers’ signing of Mose Masoe.
The NRL’s approval is likely to be gained and if it is, Masoe will join Penrith for the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
Masoe, 23, has played 46 games for the Roosters, making his first grade debut in the 2010 season.
“Mose will be a tremendous asset to our forward pack,” said Panthers General Manager of Rugby League, Phil Moss.
“We look forward to welcoming him into the squad once negotiations have been completed.”
