A big crowd turned out at Centrebet Stadium in Penrith to watch New South Wales down Queensland 18-14 in the inaugural Under 20’s State of Origin clash.

Blues coach Ricky Stuart and Maroons coach Mal Meninga were both at the game to watch some of the stars of the future.

Penrith Toyota Cup half Harry Siejka was one of the best for the Blues, scoring a brilliant try that proved the difference in the end.

Meanwhile, Penrith progressed to the Preliminary Finals of the Harold Matthews Cup with a victory over Wests, but lost to Balmain in the SG Ball.
