Penrith coach Ivan Cleary has named a new-look halves combination to take on the Warriors this Sunday.

Jarome Luai will wear the number seven jumper for Penrith, with Jack Cole to partner him in the halves.

20-year-old Cole will play just his fourth NRL game.

It follows news that Nathan Cleary will be out for around eight weeks after suffering a hamstring injury last Friday night against Canterbury.

Teammates are rallying around Cleary who is reportedly shattered by the diagnosis.

Penrith head to Brisbane later this week for their Magic Round clash against the Warriors, who will also be without their halfback after Shaun Johnson was injured last Sunday against the Roosters.

In a boost for Penrith, Izack Tago returns from suspension, while Scott Sorensen has been named on the extended bench.
