Popular Penrith café Percy Plunkett is offering free sandwiches to launch its new takeaway window – and there’s no catch.

The Station Street venue is offering free sandwiches between 9am and 1pm on Wednesday, April 17.

It comes as the café launches Percy’s Pickups, a new takeaway window offering quick and convenient access to its takeaway menu, including coffees and its new deli options.

“Every year we love to do something to give back to our community and this year we know a lot of people have been doing it tough with cost-of-living being so high, and the first thing that people sacrifice is eating out, so we thought it would be nice to give people the option to eat out without having to worry about paying for their breakfast or lunch,” said Percy Plunkett owner, Phil Hallani.

“We can’t wait for everyone to try our new deli menu.”

The free sandwich offer is available from the takeaway window only.

“Sandwiches will be free all day and we will have coffee and amazing pastries available for purchase,” Hallani said.

“Our whole takeaway menu will be available until sold out.”

Percy Plunkett is located at 146 Station Street, Penrith, near Nepean Village.
