Penrith’s C Spot Café, which is located in Elizabeth Arcade on High Street, will close its doors later this month – unless a new owner can be found.

Formerly Two Beans Café, the coffee spot has been open in Elizabeth Arcade for the last six and a half years. It has been known as C Spot Café for the last 18 months.

On social media, the cafe’s management said it was time for a “new adventure”.

“We are are sad to be closing our doors and saying goodbye to this amazing little business we have built over the last 18 months. Saturday 24 June will be our official last day of serving amazing coffee and delicious food. We will be open all week to say goodbye if you want to come in one last time,” the post said.

It is hoped that the café may be able to remain open in a new form, with a buyer for the business being sought.

“We hope that we can find a buyer who cares as much about coffee and good service as we do, and that they’ll take care of those we are happy to call our friends,” the post on Facebook said.

“If you know of anyone interested in purchasing the cafe we would love to hear from them.

“Thank you for being amazing humans and supporting your local small businesses in what has been a heck of a ride for the last few years. You keep us going with your love and support and I’m sure you’ll continue to do so for whoever comes next.”
