Police have arrested the man they believe is responsible for a fatal stabbing at St Clair on Friday afternoon.
The 24-year-old was arrested in Canberra earlier today.
Detectives from Nepean Police Area Command are travelling to the ACT where they will apply for the man’s extradition.
It follows the fatal stabbing of Youhanna Angok at a home on Parroo Close in St Clair just before 4.30pm on Friday.
Mr Angok was celebrating his birthday when the alleged perpetrator arrived unannounced.
It is believed the fatal stabbing may have stemmed from a love triangle.
