Where to get the best breakfast in Penrith

We love a good breakfast, so we’re looking at the top five locations in the Penrith LGA to grab a morning feed…

5. Settlers (Mulgoa)

The heritage listed building that houses Settlers has been feeding hungry locals for years, and you’ll never leave feeling hungry.

The $24 Big Breaky is hard to go past, but why not try the home made lemonade scones or the incredible Settlers Mancakes?

There’s also some great kids options here at a great cost.

4. Henri Marc (Penrith)

Henri Marc was almost a pioneer of redefining breakfast in Penrith as one of the first ‘modern’ cafes to hit the city a few years ago.

Make sure you try its trademark Caramel on Toast, or grab a delicious Eggs Benny if you want something a little more traditional.

With great coffee and an awesome vibe, Henri Marc deserves some of your breakfast dollars.

3. Cassandra’s (St Marys)

Cassandra’s on Queen Street at St Marys is affordable and delicious, with great service thrown in.

Try the Fresh Start Breakfast Stack or get your gob around a delicious bacon and egg roll.

The Big Breakfast is just $24.90 and you won’t leave hungry!

2. Percy Plunkett (Penrith)

A runaway success story, Percy Plunkett – named after one of this remarkable property’s owners almost 100 years ago – has become the must-visit cafe in Penrith.

Eat inside for a quaint catch-up, or head outside for a casual breakfast with the family.

You’ll find a range of great options here but you have to try the Deep Dish Pancake at least once in your life.

1. Cafe at Lewers (Emu Plains)

Cafe at Lewers provides an awesome atmosphere for breakfast – a great outdoor vibe in the gallery surrounds, with plenty of space for the kids to run around and enjoy the gardens.

The menu here changes seasonally, so while that means a favourite may disappear from time to time, things rarely get old.

The Big Breakfast or Vegetarian Mezze Plate are the menu’s highlights, but for something a little unique, jump into the Creme Burlee Hotcake.
