Jack Cogger will make his Penrith Panthers debut after being named in Ivan Cleary’s side for Saturday night’s trial against Parramatta.

To be captained by Matt Eisenhuth, Penrith’s side features fellow new recruit Zac Hosking, who has been named in the second-row alongside Jaeman Salmon.

Excitement machine Sunia Turuva has been named in the centres while Mavrik Geyer will get a run off the bench.

Cleary has named a 28 man squad for the match, which forms part of the NRL pre-season challenge.

The vast majority of Penrith’s NRL team is being rested and will focus on next Saturday’s World Club Challenge.
