A woman has died in a car accident at Mulgoa this evening.
The crash happened on Mulgoa Road at around 6.45pm near Roscrea Drive.
The Weekender understands the woman was in a Ford Fiesta that crashed head-on with a Mazda BT50.
The driver of the Mazda has been taken to Nepean Hospital for mandatory testing.
Police initially said the woman who died was a passenger in the Fiesta but it’s now understood she was the sole occupant and driver.
An investigation into the crash has commenced and Mulgoa Road remains closed in both directions.
