Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teen missing from Werrington County.
Joel Thompson, aged 17, was last seen at about 5pm yesterday.
When family members were unable to contact him officers from Nepean Police Area Command were notified and immediately commenced inquiries to locate him.
“Police and family members hold serious concerns for Joel’s welfare,” a Police spokesperson said.
“He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 170cm tall, thin build, short blond hair dyed with red and blue dots.
“Joel was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black shirt, cream-coloured pants, a black backpack and carrying a skateboard.”
Inquires have established that he maybe in the vicinity of Erskineville.
Joel may also be using the rail network.
Anyone with information about Joel’s whereabouts is urged to contact Nepean Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
