The Western Weekender 3YO Pace will be run and won at the Penrith Paceway tonight.
The 1720m race is the opening event on a nine race card at the Paceway and will be run at 6.17pm.
The Amber Hare off gate one is currently favourite for the race but there’s also support for Yankee Ideal off gate four.
Maudy Braveheart has been scratched.
The race features $8,568 in prize money with first place getting $4,536.
Due to the current COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, no patrons will be allowed on track at the Penrith Paceway tonight with the race to be run behind closed doors.
The Western Weekender 3YO Pace will be shown live on Sky Racing (Channel 526 on Foxtel) at 6.17pm tonight.
