A Penrith man has been dramatically arrested this morning after two people were found dead at a property in Oberon.
Police discovered the bodies of a man and a woman with stab wounds at an Oberon house early this morning.
Soon after, officers from Nepean Police Area Command and Nepean Highway Patrol arrested a 46-year-old man on Jack Williams Drive, Penrith, about 8.50am.
“He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for what is believed to be minor injuries before being taken to Nepean Hospital where he remains under police guard,” a Police spokesperson said.
“The parties are known to each other.”
The Weekender understands that the two people found dead are the arrested man’s parents.
A crime scene has been established at the Oberon property.
