Four arrested after shooting in Kingswood

Four people have been arrested after a public place shooting in Sydney’s west today.

About 1.50pm, Thursday, June 24, officers from Nepean Police Area Command attended Joseph Street, Kingswood, after reports of shots fired.

Police have been told a man arrived at a house, before an altercation broke out with the three occupants – two men and a woman – and shots were fired.

No one was injured and the man left the scene in a Honda CRV.

Officers established a crime scene and seized a handgun from the property.

Police in Rule Street, Cambridge Park.

Two men – aged 33 and 49 – and a 50-year-old woman were arrested and taken to Penrith Police Station.

Following further inquiries, police arrested a 32-year-old man in Cambridge Park a short time later. He was taken to St Marys Police Station.

Inquiries continue.
