Glenmore Park Coffee Club is under new ownership and ready to impress the local community with their dedication to outstanding service, coffee and food.
Taken over six months ago by husband and wife duo Joanne and Andrew Portela, the new owners have been dedicated to building a loyal following in a calmer COVID-19 world.
“I couldn’t imagine a tougher time for anyone to have taken over a business … but we’re here, and each week we’re just working on growing, and that’s the main thing,” she said.
“It’s all about the little things. I’ve instilled in the team that the little things build the bigger picture.
“Let’s make it right and have the customers enjoy the experience, give them your time and have a chat. We’re here for the relationships.”
Mrs Portela brings two decades’ of experience in hospitality to the venture, however the pair dedicate a lot of their success to the community around them, which has watched them thrive.
“Without your community, you’re nothing,” she said.
