Motorists are being advised of changed traffic conditions from this month on Adams Road, Luddenham as part of work of The Northern Road upgrade.
Adams Road will be closed between Jamison Street and Anton Road from Friday, April 17 for a period of up to four months to safely construct a new set of traffic lights.
During the closure motorists will be detoured via Elizabeth Drive and The Northern Road, which is expected to add about seven minutes to journeys.
Residents will be able to access their properties on Adams Road during the closure.
Lane closures, traffic control and a reduced speed limit will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
