Search on for Penrith’s missing millionaire

The search is on for Penrith’s newest millionaire, with a resident or visitor to the region completely unaware they’re walking around with a division one winning Wednesday Lotto ticket.

The entry was one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3915, on Wednesday, October 23, with each entry taking home a division one prize of $1,000,000.

As the entry is unregistered, NSW Lotteries officials have no way to contact the winner with the dream-come-true news and is urging players to check their tickets today.

The million-dollar winning ticket was purchased at Nepean Square Newsagency, Shop 38, Nepean Village, 144 Station Street, Penrith.

Nepean Square Newsagency owner Bill Bahous said he was eagerly waiting for the winner to check their ticket.

“It’s been about two years since we last sold a division one winning entry so we’re incredibly excited,” he said.

“We’ve been checking everyone’s ticket, waiting to scan the winning one.

“We really hope this winner realises their good fortune soon.”

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Lauren Cooney said she was eager to unite the Penrith player with their million-dollar prize.

“We love delivering life-changing news and we can’t wait to break this news to our latest division one winner,” she said.

“If you had an entry into Wednesday night’s Lotto draw, we promise it could be absolutely worthwhile for you to check your ticket now.

“You could be our mystery division one winner! Just imagine how your plans for the weekend and year could change after you discover you’re $1 million richer.

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3915 on Wednesday, October 23 were 2, 14, 24, 8, 20 and 22 while the supplementary numbers were 9 and 41.
