The man was granted strict conditional bail and is due to appear at Penrith Local Court on Monday, August 19.

It has been revealed that the MP targeted was Mulgoa MP Tanya Davies.

In a separate incident, following reports of a threatening phone call to another member of parliament earlier this week, investigators from Ryde Police Area Command commenced an investigation.
