A woman has been killed in a tragic head-on collision between a car and a truck at St Clair this morning.
Shortly after 3am today, a car heading south on Mamre Road, near Luddenham Road, collided head-on with a truck travelling northbound.
The female driver of the car died at the scene.
The male driver of the truck suffered minor injuries and was taken to Nepean Hospital for mandatory tests.
Mamre Road is blocked in both directions at Luddenham Road following the accident.
Emergency services and NSW Police remains on site investigating the cause into the crash.
Motorists are being urged to use Erskine Park Road or the Northern Road as an alternative.
Due to the serious nature of this crash, there is no forecast available as to when Mamre Road in St Clair will reopen.
