Just after 10am today, emergency services were called to a home on Birch Street, after an eight-month-old was found in the bath, unconscious.
Initial reports suggested it was a baby girl but Police Media say the baby is a boy.
“The infant was taken by Ambulance Paramedics to Nepean Hospital where he is reportedly in a serious but stable condition,” a Police spokesperson said.
“Police attached to St Marys Local Area Command continue to make inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
