A man has been arrested following an alleged child approach incident in Penrith earlier this week.
About 8am on Tuesday, an eight-year-old girl entered the women’s toilet at a fast food restaurant on High Street, Penrith.
The girl was then allegedly approached by an unknown man. She left the scene and told her mother about the incident.
Police were contacted about the incident later that night, and commenced investigations.
Following investigations, officers attached to Penrith Police Station arrested a 46-year-old man about 3.45pm today.
