Police were contacted last week after a man armed with a taser entered a business premises on Sydney Street in Oxley Park.
On Tuesday, June 9 at about 6.50am a female attendant was confronted by the male who made certain demands at her.
The female attendant was forced to hand over a small amount of money before the male allegedly ran from the store and drove away in a silver coloured vehicle.
At about 8.40am police were patrolling Bennett Road in St Clair when they stopped a silver coloured vehicle, with enquiries leading to the arrest of the male driver.
Served with a court attendance notice, it is alleged police found a taser type device and a small amount of prohibited drugs in the man’s possession. Bail was refused.
