Police are appealing for information after reports of a shot fired into a home in Werrington County, believed to have occurred during the last week.
Police have been told residents of a home on Henry Lawson Avenue moved from the premises on Sunday, May 17.
About 2.30pm yesterday (Tuesday, May 26), two of the previous tenants returned to collect belongings when what appeared to be a bullet hole was located through the front window of the home.
Officers attached to St Marys Local Area Command were notified and attended, establishing a crime scene.
As inquiries continue, police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers.
Initial investigations have led police to believe the incident was not targeted.
