A 14-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted by a group of men on Tuesday afternoon.

The boy was walking near a fast food restaurant on Glenmore Parkway when a silver sedan stopped next to him around 3pm. Police allege there was a conversation between the group and the boy when a man of Islander appearance got out of the car and assaulted the boy by punching him repeatedly.

After returning home, the boy told his father, 50, who returned to the scene where a brawl broke out between the group of Islander men and the father.

Both the father and the boy were treated at Nepean Hospital. The father had facial injuries while the boy was mildly concussed.

Police are urging the Islander males and witnesses to come forward.
