With some 40 neighbourhood facilities across Penrith City available for hire, community groups can apply now to secure their preferred regular meeting space ready for next year.
Facilities include neighbourhood centres, community centres, youth centres, senior citizens centres and halls.
Penrith City Council Neighbourhood Facilities Coordinator, Judy Cobb, said Penrith boasted a number of premier venues for hire, with most facilities offering air-conditioned comfort.
“It’s great that Council can support a lively and close-knit community by providing affordable hire of local facilities,” she said.
“This year, more than 200 groups used Council’s neighbourhood facilities, including playgroups, dance groups, yoga, youth activities and seniors groups.
“There’s a range of spaces to suit small to large activities and new groups are always welcome to book.”
