A woman has been sexually assaulted during a home invasion in Cambridge Park earlier today.
Police were called to a house in Lincoln Drive after a woman was woken by noises about 1.30am this morning.
“She told police an unknown male had entered the premises by force and sexually assaulted her,” Police said in a statement this afternoon.
“The man then fled in an unknown direction.”
Police and Paramedics were called to the scene.
A crime scene was established and examined by forensic officers.
The 52-year-old woman was taken to Nepean hospital for treatment.
