Penrith halfback Luke Walsh is in doubt for tomorrow night’s clash with Manly at Brookvale Oval.
Walsh did not train on Friday and young gun Blake Austin has been placed on stand-by to start the match should he not be passed fit tomorrow.
If Walsh is ruled out, Travis Burns would most likely switch to halfback with Austin playing at five-eighth.
Losing Walsh would be a huge blow for Penrith who are already without Tim Grant, Nathan Smith and Michael Gordon to long-term injuries.
Manly have their own problems in the halves with five-eighth Kieran Foran battling the clock to prove his fitness for tomorrow’s match.
