Police find bullet hole at house

Police are conducting investigations after a suspected bullet hole was found in the front of a house in Penrith this morning.

About 1.40am today, the occupant of a house on Aldebaran Street, Cranebrook was disturbed by noises at his front door.

The 41-year-old went to the front room of his house and interrupted three men who then ran from the residence.

He noticed a window was smashed and found what appeared to be a bullet hole in the window frame.

Police were contacted and attended the premises and a crime scene was established and examined by forensic officers.



Police are appealing for anyone with information that may assist investigators to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
