An investigation is underway following a domestic-related incident at St Marys tonight.
About 7.15pm, police and other emergency services were called to residential premises in Saddington Street following reports a female had sustained a number of stab wounds.
She was treated at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital and is reported to be a stable condition.
Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A crime scene has been established, and investigations are underway into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police would like to speak with a man seen in the vicinity of the premises at the time of the alleged incident.

Meanwhile, detectives have arrested and charged an 18-year-old St Marys man in relation to an incident that occured in Kareela Avenue, Penrith in the early hours of this morning.
As reported earlier today, a 14-year-old male received non life threatening injuries and is in a stable condition and expected to make a full recovery.
The alleged offender will appear at Penrith Local Court on August 8 to answer a charge of Reckless Wounding. Police will allege that a knife used in the incident was located in a drain after a search and the assistance of the Police Rescue Squad.
