The Eagles without a doubt are still one of the most popular bands going around today.
Their melodic country-rock sound has spawned numerous hits that are constantly played on radio stations all over the world. In a recent survey taken throughout Europe, the UK and North America, punters voted The Eagles as the most popular contemporary band of all time, ahead of The Beatles, The Beach Boys and The Bee Gees.
When the original Eagles broke up in 1982, Desperado – ‘The Eagles Show’ was created to fill that void left by one of the most prolific bands of all time. Desperado is comprised of six talented musicians, and together they celebrate and faithfully reproduce the music of one of the best bands of all time culminating in a show to be remembered.
They combine awesome vocals, harmonies and great musicianship so well that audience members think they’re actually hearing the real thing. Desperado won the 2010 MO Award for the ‘Best Tribute Show.’
Lead singer of Desperado, Mark, said he loves seeing the crowd get involved and having a good time.
“I get a real buzz with the strong audience reaction we get after the show,” he said.
“When the audience sings along to songs like ‘Heartache Tonight’ and ‘Hotel California’, we, on stage, can feel the adrenaline rush.”
On the night you’ll hear hits like ‘Hotel California’, ‘Tequila Sunrise’, ‘New Kid In Town’, ‘Take It Easy’, ‘The Long Run’ and many more.
