Police are appealing for public assistance to locate two missing girls who may be in Penrith.
Tyraa Shearer-Cooper and Cheriish Shearer-Cooper, both aged 10, were last seen in the Mt Druitt area about 8.15pm last night (Tuesday, December 12)
When they could not be contacted and failed to return home, officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into their whereabouts.
Police hold concerns for their welfare due to their age and medical conditions.
Tyraa is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, with light brown hair and blue eyes.
Cheriish is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 140cm tall, slim build, dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Tyrra was last seen wearing a black tank top and cream shorts, whilst Cheriish was last seen wearing a navy shirt and Penrith Panthers shorts.
They are known to utilise public transport and frequent the Mount Druitt, Tregear, Whalan, Willmot, Glenmore Park and Penrith areas.
It’s understood they may have travelled by bus to the Willmot area.
Anyone who may have seen the girls or may have information about their whereabouts is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
