New local close contact venues announced by NSW Health

Three new locations in the Penrith Local Government Area have been declared as ‘close contact’ venues.

Anyone who attended Terry White Pharmacy at 477 High Street, Penrith on Tuesday, August 3 between 7.50am and 6pm and Wednesday, August 4 between 7.50am and 6pm must get tested immediately and self-isolate for 14 days from their date of exposure.

And it’s the same message for anyone who attended the JANS Family Medical Practice at the same location.

Anyone who attended the St Marys Medical Centre on Phillip Street on Wednesday, August 4 between 9.15am and 10am is also a ‘close contact’.

There’s also new ‘casual contact’ venues. Anyone who was at the following venues on the listed dates and times needs to get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result:

  • Cambridge Gardens – Coles. Monday, August 2 between 8.45am and 9.15am.
  • Colyton – Dan Murphy’s. Sunday, August 1 between 10am and 10.15am
  • Penrith – Sportspower. Saturday, July 31 between 10.50pm and 1.10pm.
  • South Penrith – South Penrith Tobacconist. Tuesday, August 3 between 11.45am and 12.15pm and Monday, August 2 between 1.30pm and 2pm.
  • South Penrith – Southlands Takeaway. Monday, August 2 between 1.15pm and 2.10pm.
  • South Penrith – Subway at Southlands. Tuesday, August 3 between 11.30am and 12.30pm.
  • St Marys – Liquor Stax. Tuesday, August 3 from 10.15am to 10.35am.

Testing sites across Penrith were extremely busy today, with thousands getting tested following a plethora of venue alerts in recent days.
