A man has been charged after a search of his Kingswood home allegedly revealed two firearms and over 2500 rounds of ammunition.
On Thursday, June 10, officers from Nepean Police Area Command Proactive Crime Team executed a search warrant at a home on Plunkett Crescent, Kingswood.
A 30-year-old man was arrested after officers allegedly located a sawn-off .22 rifle and a replica Glock pistol that functions as a conducted electrical device.
A large amount of ammunition, magazines, knuckle dusters, an amount of methylamphetamines, a hand-made stun gun and allegedly stolen property was also seized.
The man was taken to Penrith Police Station where he was charged with 14 offences.
He appeared in court on June 11 where he was bail refused.
