Motorcyclist dies in Cranebrook crash

A motorcyclist has died after a crash at Cranebrook this morning.

Emergency services were called to Londonderry Road at Cranebrook, after the bike and a utility collided about 5.45am.

The rider, believed to be a man, died at the scene. He has not yet been formally identified.

The male driver of the ute was not injured and has been taken to Nepean Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from the Crash Investigation Unit (CIU) are en route to the scene.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area as Londonderry Road is expected to be closed for some time while the scene is examined.
