Police launch public appeal to find missing teen

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from Westmead who is known to frequent the Penrith area.

Analeise Myers, aged 16, was last seen leaving a hospital in Westmead about 7.30pm on Sunday, September 20.

Officers from Parramatta Police Area Command were notified when she failed to home and despite extensive inquiries, have not been able to locate her.

Analeise is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 160-165cm tall, of a thin build, and with long light-brown hair. She was last seen wearing a light grey tracksuit top and pants.

She is known to frequent the Parramatta, Penrith, Mt Druitt and Blacktown areas and regularly uses public transport.

Police hold serious concerns for her welfare due to her age and urge anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward.
