There’s nothing like spending a relaxing morning at a local cafe, reading a paper and enjoying a coffee or snack.

Here’s our list of the top five cafes in the Penrith LGA.

5. Leaf Cafe (Cranebrook)

A very relaxed atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor dining, and a super price competitive menu.

Sit back and enjoy a coffee, and grab some breakfast pancakes or a melt… and there’s also a menu for the little ones.

Perfect trendy place for a good catch-up with friends.

4. Platform T8 (Thornton)

This has become a regular haunt for the growing Thornton community, and part of the routine for many commuters through the week.

Sensational coffee, pancakes, and the classic bacon and egg burger is to die for!

Great vibe, awesome layout and friendly staff.

3. High Street Depot (Penrith)

High Street Depot has become extremely popular with the local business community – it’s the perfect place for a quick coffee catch-up and is in a convenient spot in the Penrith CBD.

Apart from the superb coffee, there’s great breakfast options and a unique lunch menu for later in the day.

High Street Depot has come out the other side after disruptive work on High Street and is going as good as ever.

2. Henri Marc (Penrith)

Henri Marc redefined the cafe vibe in Penrith when it opened a few years ago, and continues to be an awesome place to catch up with a unique feel and look.

The coffee is great but you’ve got to throw in a sneaky caramel on toast while you’re there.

Also don’t forget to try the shakes – we love the Salt & Caramel!

1. Percy Plunkett (Penrith)

Percy Plunkett has become the ultimate place to catch-up with friends or family, and usually has a busy but comfortable vibe pretty much every day of the week.

The team behind this unique offering have done an awesome job on the fit-out, and continue to deliver high quality food and drinks.

It’s also a great place for the kids with plenty of activities and space to keep them busy.
