St Clair house destroyed by fire

A crime scene has been established after a home was destroyed by fire in St Clair last night.

Emergency services were called to the home on Strauss Road about 10.30pm on Tuesday, after reports a house was alight.

On arrival NSW Fire and Rescue officers extinguished the fire with a number of residents self-evacuating.

The roof of the home has been completely destroyed compromising the integrity of the structure.

Officers from Nepean Police Area Command and NSW Fire and Rescue investigators will enter the home when safe and commence inquiries.
