Penrith’s home game in Bathurst next season will shift back to a day-time slot with the match scheduled for Sunday, May 10.

The clash against Cronulla at Carrington Park will kick-off at 2.05pm and be broadcast exclusively by Fox League.

The full NRL draw has been released today, with Penrith to open their season against the Roosters at Panthers Stadium on Saturday, March 14 at 7.35pm.

Penrith hosts five Sunday afternoon games in 2020 (including the clash in Bathurst), two Thursday night matches, three Friday games and two Saturday night matches.

Highlights include a clash against Brisbane at Panthers Stadium for the first time since 2016 and a final round blockbuster against Parramatta.

Six of Penrith’s 12 home games are on free-to-air TV.

The Panthers face a tough start to the season, facing the Roosters, Storm and Raiders all in the first five weeks.

Penrith will return to Magic Round at Suncorp Stadium in Round 8 to play the Titans on Sunday, May 23 at 6.25pm.

The Panthers play three games at Bankwest Stadium against the Eels, Bulldogs and Tigers.

NRL CEO Todd Greenberg said the 2020 schedule would make it easier for fans to get to more games.

β€œThis is a fan friendly, player friendly and club friendly schedule,’’ he said.

β€œThere will be more big matches played in family friendly slots, particularly our big Sydney matches, to ensure more children get to watch rugby league live.’’
