An out of control bush fire is currently burning in Castlereagh, with emergency crews working desperately to contain it.
The fire is currently at Emergency Level.
The blaze is burning in the area of Devlin Road and is moving in a north westerly direction towards Tickner Street and Rickards Road.
Firefighters are being assisted by waterbombing aircraft, including the Large Air Tanker. Heavy smoke is visible in the area.
People in the areas around Tickner Street, Devlin Road and Richards Road should take shelter as the fire arrives.
Earlier, the fire had been downgraded to Watch and Act level but a change in conditions now has it at the highest warning possible.
If you or your property are under immediate threat, phone 000 immediately.
