Penrith coach Ivan Cleary has dropped fan favourites Josh Mansour and Reagan Campbell-Gillard for Friday night’s clash with the Warriors.

Mansour will play Canterbury Cup while Campbell-Gillard has been named on the extended first grade bench, meaning he is still a chance to be a late inclusion into the side.

Dylan Edwards has been brought back into first grade and will play fullback with Brian To’o to make his NRL debut.

The Panthers have lost seven of their opening nine matches and are desperate to get their season back on track against the Warriors on Friday.

Panthers team: Dylan Edwards, Brian To’o, Dean Whare, Waqa Blake, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, James Maloney, Nathan Cleary, James Tamou (c), Sione Katoa, Tim Grant, Viliame Kikau, James Fisher-Harris, Liam Martin. Bench: Jarome Luai, Tyrell Fuimaono, Moses Leota, Kaide Ellis.

Reserves: Reagan Campbell-Gillard, Hame Sele, Frank Winterstein, Caleb Aekins.
