Mystery surrounds Kingswood stabbing

A man has been taken to hospital following a stabbing in Kingswood overnight.

Just before midnight last night, officers from Nepean Police Area Command were patrolling on the Great Western Highway near Bringelly Road, when they located a 20-year-old man with a stab wound.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the incident has been launched.

As inquiries continue, police are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area, to come forward.
