Superstar halfback Cooper Cronk may make his Sydney Roosters debut at Panthers Stadium after it was confirmed the Panthers and Roosters would go head to head in a pre-season trial in February.
Penrith have re-shaped their pre-season trials with the Battle of the West shelved due to the Panthers and Eels meeting in round one.
The Roosters will travel to Panthers Stadium on Saturday, February 17 with a 7.10pm kickoff. Jersey Flegg kicks off at 3pm with an ISP game at 5pm.
Penrith will also play Canterbury in the pre-season with a clash scheduled for Belmore Sportsground on Saturday, February 24 at 6.30pm. Again, Jersey Flegg and ISP will begin the day’s proceedings.
Members get free access to the match at Panther Stadium.
The trials will be the first opportunity Penrith fans have to see the new halves combination of Nathan Cleary and James Maloney in action.
