The Westies Fringe Markets debuted in May and, after the success of the first round, the markets will be making their return this September just in time for spring.
This local event is the brainchild of Katrina James, founder of The Westies website, whose aim is to offer a place for local artisans to showcase their work.
“It helps to show the wider community the talent that we have right on our doorstep,” she said.
Stalls will offer a variety of products including hand poured soy candles, specialised herbal tea blends, handcrafted homewares, handmade floral crowns, vintage giftware, speciality coffee, vegan, gluten free and refined sugar free protein balls, Paleo muffins and slices.
This time around the markets will also feature creative workshops which will run throughout the day, giving visitors the chance to flex their creative muscles.
Whether you’re after a gift, or just wanting to treat yourself, The Westies Fringe Markets is well worth a visit.
The Westies Fringe Markets will be held on Saturday, September 12 from 8am to 2pm at
The Creative Fringe on York Road. Entry is free. For more information or to book into a creative workshop visit http://www.thewesties.com.au/markets.
