When Aussie jazz icon James Morrison calls you ‘the greatest gift to Australian jazz vocals’ you know you’re doing something right.
Vocalist Emma Pask was discovered by Morrison at the age of 16 and has now been performing alongside the music great and his band for over 20 years.
Local audiences will have the chance to hear Emma’s beautiful classic jazz vocals when she heads to The Joan on Sunday, July 26 for the Sundays at the Joan series.
Along with her busy touring schedule and performances with Morrison, Emma has appeared on Channel 9’s ‘Carols By Candlelight’, sung the bridal waltz at Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s wedding and has made regular appearances on ‘The Midday Show’, ‘Hey, Hey It’s Saturday’ and ‘The Today Show’.
Emma also appeared on the 2013 series of ‘The Voice’ where she grabbed the attention of coach Ricky Martin, who recorded a duet with Emma after the show.
Jazz fans won’t want to miss out on hearing this amazing vocalist do what she does best.
Emma Pask will be performing at The Joan on Sunday, July 26 at 3pm. Tickets are $30-$35. For more information or to purchase tickets visit http://www.thejoan.com.au or call 4723 7600.
