At the recent Logie Awards, TV presenter Carrie Bickmore brought attention to brain cancer through her moving acceptance speech.

For local residents looking for a way to support this worthwhile cause the Music For Life Ball will be held on Friday, June 12 to help solve the brain cancer puzzle.

The event will include a three course dinner and auction and guests are asked to ‘Dress to Impress’ with a black and white theme.

Tim Gilbert from the ‘Today’ show will be hosting the ball and entertainment will be provided by The Players and The Diamonds.

The proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation which was founded by respected Australian neurosurgeon Charlie Teo and is the largest dedicated funding organisation for brain cancer research in Australia. The foundation aims to improve health outcomes for people diagnosed with brain cancer through research and education in neurosurgery.

Over the last five years Music for Life has raised almost a quarter of a million dollars for brain cancer research, so grab your tickets now to help add to the fundraising efforts for this very worthy cause!

Music For Life Ball will be on Friday, June 12 at the Panthers Pavillion at Penrith Panthers. Tickets are $140 per person or $1200 for a table of 10. To make a booking visit http://www.musicforlife.net.au.
