Sunday is the perfect day to relax and enjoy time with family and friends, and what better way to do that than at the Forage and Feast Market at Penrith Regional Gallery and The Lewers Bequest on Sunday, June 1.

The market will have plenty to keep every member of the family happy, with live music from Ukulele band The Blue Mugs and activities for the little ones, along with free exhibitions, a variety of stalls and of course plenty of delicious food to keep you going all day.

As you wander through the gallery grounds you’ll be able to forage through the artisans wares, with over 30 stalls selling craft, jewellery, art, fashion, vintage collectables, home wares, up cycled designs, candles and curios.

Once you’ve got all your new goodies you can refuel with some delicious eats. Love mexican cuisine? You’ll be pleased to hear that Cantina, one of the popular City of Sydney food trucks, will be setting up shop at the markets with some tasty dishes. If that’s not your thing then Jafe Jaffles will be preparing a gourmet twist on an old favourite, the jaffle, and winter treats will be available from Cafe at Lewers. Sweet tooths will be catered for as well with Moreish Macarons and Cookie Jar Cupcakes. For those over 18 there will also be wine tasting by Dusty Buzzard.

The Penrith Regional Gallery was originally the home and studio of artists Margo and Gerald Lewers. The Forage and Feast Market will see this tradition of creativity live on, allowing visitors the opportunity to support local designers, crafters, artists and retailers while enjoying some time in the beautiful gallery grounds.

So grab your favourite people and head to the gallery to celebrate the first day of winter with some foraging and feasting.

The Forage and Feast Market will be held at the Penrith Regional Gallery and The Lewers Bequest on Sunday, June 1 from 10am – 3pm. Entry is free. For more information call 4735 1100.
