Lindsay MP Melissa McIntosh has been named the new Shadow Minister for Women.

The three-time MP will also retain her previous role as Shadow Minister for Communications.

The announcement comes as the Liberal Party and the Nationals end their very brief divorce, confirming this afternoon they would revive their Coalition partnership.

The most intriguing appointments include Jacinta Price to Defence Industry, Andrew Bragg to Housing and Michaelia Cash to the role of Shadow Foreign Minister.

Jane Hume has been left out of the Shadow Ministry.

“I know that we have harnessed the talent that we need in this Shadow Ministry moving forward,” Liberal leader Sussan Ley said.
