Man dead after workplace incident in Erskine Park

A man has died after a workplace incident in Erskine Park.

At about 8.30am this morning, emergency services were called to a warehouse on Grady Crescent, Erskine Park, after reports of a workplace incident.

Officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command attended alongside NSW Ambulance paramedics, who treated a 29-year-old man, however, he died at the scene.

He is yet to be formally identified.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the incident has commenced.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner and the incident has been referred to SafeWork NSW.

A spokesperson for SafeWork NSW confirmed they were aware of the incident.

“SafeWork NSW was notified of a workplace incident that occurred earlier today at a warehouse at Erskine Park in Sydney’s west,” the spokesperson said.

“SafeWork NSW is responding and inspectors are at the scene.

“As enquiries are ongoing, no further comment can be made at this time.”
