A local family is asking for their son to make contact, with concerns held for his welfare.
23-year-old Ryan Cherne was last seen in Penrith on Wednesday morning.
The alarm was raised after he failed to arrive at work earlier this week.
“All we have to go off is that he didn’t show up to work on Tuesday, one of his work mates phoned his older brother Matthew saying that he hadn’t heard from him, from there we tried calling, texting and messaging and no answers or reply,” Ryan’s father Mike told the Weekender.
“Matthew then proceeded to raise a missing person’s file with the police.”
Family believe he was sighted at Brew Haven, in Westfield Penrith, on Wednesday morning – but this is not confirmed.
Family say it is “very out of character” for him to not make contact with them.
Anyone with information regarding Ryan’s whereabouts is asked to contact police.
