Penrith will tomorrow announce they’ve secured father-and-son duo Ivan and Nathan Cleary on long-term deals that keep them at the foot of the Mountains.
The Panthers have scheduled an 11am press conference tomorrow to make a “major club announcement”.
It’s expected the club will confirm the new deals, rumoured to extend both coach and co-captain through until the end of the 2027 season.
For Ivan that would likely ensure he finishes his coaching career at Penrith while Nathan would be 30 when the deal expires.
It’s believed the contracts are some of the richest in the club’s history and in Nathan’s case is tied to expected increases in the salary cap in the years to come.
